What is Tuk Tuk Travellers?

· At its core, Tuk Tuk Travellers is Juho and Pyry - two friends and professional circus artists with a passion for delicious, nutritious food.

 

· Then there is of course the tuk tuk itself, that Pyry and Juho drove from Thailand to Finland.

 

· Then there is the authentic street food venue found in Käpylä, Helsinki, during the summer season.

· Then there are all the additional modes of expression: a documentary series currently in post-production, a cook book on its way, a game to be released one day . . .

 

· Then there is the realm of possibility for co-operation and services provided by Tuk Tuk Travellers: from top-notch, unique catering to circus workshops and performances; from imaginative, inspiring lectures to the wholesale of high-grade herbs & spices.

 

· As a whole, there is an intention for a deeper cultural movement, underlying it all: to actively take part in transforming the way food, health and quality of life is seen and felt; to help make all individuals feel valued for who they are; and to grow the roots for a healthier, more just society, in which all of life can thrive.

 

 

Q: Is there a restaurant where TTT food could be enjoyed all year round?

 

A: Not yet! One day there will be! For the time being, all food prepared by Tuk Tuk Travellers is served either at our street kitchen in Käpylä during the summer, or at our catering events.
